Are you struggling with some of life's challenges? Need someone to help work through things and find a way forward? I am an empathic, warm, experienced counsellor. I offer a safe, confidential space with no judgement, where we explore together what is going on for you and what positive changes you want to make.

I can work with a wide range of issues, on a short or long term basis. I can work face to face, online or over the phone. I am available from 10.30-14.30 on weekdays and my fees are £45-£55 a session.

I work in a person centred way, which means we work at your pace on the issues you want to bring. I won't tell you what to do because I consider you to be the expert on yourself as an individual, but I will help you to work out the right strategies and ways forward for you. I am able to draw on the depth and breadth of my experience to find a smooth journey through therapy for you, using many different techniques.

I offer face to face work from a counselling room at the Brackenwood Community Association, The Highwood Building, Brackenwood Drive, Leeds, LS8 1RG. There is unfortunately a flight of stairs to this room, but please let me know if this would be a problem so that we can arrange something accessible to you.

I know how hard it can be to reach out for help and to approach a counsellor. I also believe in the importance of finding the right therapist for you. This means I offer a free initial 30 minute phone call, with no obligation, so you can see if it feels right for us to work together.

About Me

I love working creatively, and have previously worked in issue based theatre around mental health and homelessness. I also worked as a mental health advocate for 7 years, helping people have their voices heard in many different situations.
